George Kiwango is a medical doctor and public health researcher focusing on strengthening Health Systems and Epidemiology in Tanzania. He has experience coordinating large-scale public health initiatives, including overseeing the National Health Workforce Account implementation and leading a 5-year grant project in partnership with Johns Hopkins University. He has also worked as a researcher at Karolinska Institutet and as a Quality Officer in the HIV/AIDS Program for the US Embassy's Department of Defense. His background is in Epidemiology, and he actively engages in HRH-related consultancies and research. Dr. George as the Director of Programs leading the foundation in researching, planing and implementing foundation’s programs.
