Dr Emilia Kitambala is a medical doctor and scientist with expertise in the field of public health. She is dedicated to positively impact in the areas of Health Systems and climate change on the areas of Non-communicable Diseases (NCDs), Infectious diseases, Reproductive and child health and nutrition. Her experiences is on program implementation, coordination and research on HIV, NCDs, renal diseases, nutrition, health systems strengthening, and vaccination. Dr. Emilia extends her experience in collaboration with various government and non-governmental stakeholders to address health disparities and advocate for health equity, particularly for vulnerable populations. Dr. Emilia is the Director of Policy and Advocacy for HSSRF, she will serve to support policy development, analysis and implementation as well as advocacy in various fields of health and social sciences. Dr. Emilia strives to bridge health gaps locally and globally, contributing to transformative health outcomes.
